The Philippines
What is the best way to get to Cebu, Philippines?
Since Cebu has an international airport, the best way to arrive is by plane. For those travelling from abroad, you will likely have at least one layover at another Asian country before boarding a plane headed for Cebu. Please see our Travel to Asia page for further information.
Will I need a visa to enter the Philippines?
For those without a Filipino, Canadian, American, British or European Union passport, please consult the Philippine embassy site for visa requirements and applications.
Will my accommodations be covered in Cebu?
No, accommodations are not covered by us. We request our guests to please book their rooms at the location of their choice. We did not obtain a room block at the Shangri-La in order to provide guests the flexibility to find accommodations that best suits their needs and wants. What if I have dietary restrictions?
We will be serving a Filipino buffet, which will generally be non-vegetarian. However, we will also offer a plated vegetarian / vegan meal. Please indicate your preference when you RSVP.
What is the dress code for the events in Cebu?
The dress code for the events is formal. We will not be changing in between events, so please wear what you are most comfortable with. As a guide, cocktail dresses, long gowns, suits, barongs / dress shirts and long pants are all perfect for the events. Blazers are optional. Please wear whatever colour you like. We do ask for no flip flops, running shoes or shorts be worn to the events.
How many seats are in our invitation?
We have a limited number of seats at our events. Each family has been allotted a number of seats. You will find your allotted number of seats when you enter our RSVP site. We ask our family and friends to respect this number as any additional guests will not be accommodated due to the limited nature of our events. Please RSVP to our the Filipino wedding here.
Are children invited to the events?
Yes, we are allowing children at the events. However, please check on our RSVP site for the allotted number of seats for your family. You wlll find your seats at our RSVP site here.

What is the best way to get to Jaipur?
Depending on where you are travelling from, there may multiple options of transport. If you’re coming from Mumbai or overseas, we recommend flying to Jaipur. For those travelling from overseas, you will likely have a layover in Mumbai or Delhi. For those coming from Delhi, you can either drive to Jaipur or hop on a quick flight over. Will I need a visa to enter India?
India requires a visa for most passport holders, however, many visas can be done online. Please consult the Indian embassy site for visa requirements and applications.
How do I book my accommodations at Devi Ratn?
Please reach out directly to the host family for any accommodation question on the nights at Devi Ratn.
What food will be served during the wedding days?
We will be serving all vegetarian meals for the wedding event days. We will ensure that the labels are properly marked to indicate spice levels. If you have any dietary restrictions, please let the Hospitality Team or host family know.
